Finding ATMs can be a real hassle, especially in smaller towns, rural areas, or when you're in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Many times ATMs are out of cash, out of order, or simply too far away. UPI Cash Point solves this by bringing basic banking services right to your local grocery store, pharmacy, or neighborhood shop. It's like having a mini-bank on every street corner.
Transaction Limits
Transaction limits depend on two factors:
- The outlet's available cash float (how much cash they have on hand)
- Your individual bank's daily withdrawal/deposit limits
- Specific limits may vary by participating bank and outlet type
Transaction Process Flow
Finding a Cash Point:
- Open your UPI app and look for "Cash Point" or "ATM Locator" feature
- The app shows nearby participating outlets on a map with distance and availability
- Check outlet timings before visiting
- Head to the chosen outlet during their business hours
Withdrawing Cash:
- Tell the outlet operator how much cash you need
- The operator initiates a cash withdrawal request on their system
- Scan their UPI QR code with your app
- Enter the withdrawal amount in your app
- Confirm the transaction with your UPI PIN
- Once approved, receive cash from the operator
- Get a receipt for your transaction
Depositing Cash:
- Hand over the cash you want to deposit to the outlet operator
- Tell them your deposit amount
- The operator scans your UPI QR code or you scan theirs
- Verify the deposit amount shown on screen
- Confirm the transaction in your app
- Money gets credited to your linked bank account instantly
- Keep the receipt for your records
