Lalitha Nataraj is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL), a subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). She oversees the strategic and operational direction of NBSL, focusing on strengthening UPI-based payment solutions for recurring transactions. Her role ensures alignment with NPCI’s broader goals of fostering a secure and accessible digital payments ecosystem.
Lalitha brings over two decades of experience in banking and financial services. Before joining NPCI Group, she led Digital Partnership Payments at IDFC Bank, where she worked on expanding digital payment collaborations. Her earlier roles at ICICI Bank and IDFC spanned both retail and corporate segments. Her expertise covers P&L management, partnerships, product development, sales, and marketing. She has successfully launched new business initiatives and driven digital finance strategies across various functions. She is a qualified Cost Accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA).
Lalitha is interested in how emerging technologies can enhance financial services. She also mentors young professionals and supports fintech innovation efforts.
