Deputy Managing Director (Strategy) & Chief Digital Officer - State Bank of India
Shri Ravindra Pandey, Deputy Managing Director (Strategy) & Chief Digital Officer, State Bank of India, joined the Bank as Probationary Officer in 1985.
In his current assignment as CDtO of SBI, he is the head of Digital & Transaction Banking verticals of the Bank.
He was CGM of Jaipur Circle and was responsible for SBI’s operations in entire state of Rajasthan. He was also heading the payment solutions and special projects of the Bank. During his tenure Bank became the largest merchant acquirer of the country. He has more than 33 years of varied experience of managing various operations of SBI as Regional Manager, Deputy General Manager(B&O) and General Manager-NW.
His international experience includes heading of SBI’s France operations. The responsibility included Business development, Risk & compliance management, HR Functions, interaction and participation in various industry and Government forums. He holds M.Sc degree in Chemistry from Allahabad University.
