The following are some of the major initiatives that the Administration team has been carrying out:
1. Installation of protective screens between cubicles
In order to safely accommodate more employees in the NPCI Offices while maintaining required social distancing, protective screens have been installed between cubicles to enable employees to sit across from each other safely
The screens are tall enough for people standing on either side to speak safely, without blocking the air flow in the office. Their design was also finalized, keeping the preservation of the aesthetic beauty of the offices.
2. Packaged Lunch arrangement for employees
NPCI has tied up with Taj SATS and Taj Madras Flight Kitchen to bring fresh, curated and hygienic meals for employees across locations. At present, the cost for the same is being borne by NPCI. The meals come in sealed boxes and include Vegetarian as well as Non Vegetarian options and can be consumed after few minutes of heating. In order to ensure novelty, the menu is different each day of the week, so as to cater to all tastes and preferences.
The food is arranged in the reception along with microwave ovens to facilitate easy heating. Veg and Non Veg sections are properly segregated for convenience of employees. Adequate hygiene and social distancing norms are followed strictly to ensure that employees can take advantage of the facility in a safe and secure manner.
Employees have also showed cooperation towards the social distancing norms while enthusiastically availing the facility.
Overall feedback of the employees has been very encouraging.
