Gender Diversity and Inclusion Guidelines

NPCI has been working towards providing the necessary infrastructure support to the digital payment and settlement business across the nation through successful operations over the last ten plus years. NPCI has always had zero tolerance for any form of harassment, especially with regard to Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH).

A truly diverse workplace, apart from other advantages, enables the organisation & its people to foster innovation, service & excellence. As the next step towards making NPCI a more inclusive and diverse workplace, guidelines have been framed for Gender Diversity and Inclusion.

The guidelines are built on 5 pillars:

1. Recruitment and Selection – In order to ensure fair and adequate opportunities are provided to women in all external hiring

2. Success and Growth to manage Careers – In order to address the growth challenges faced by women employees and to further increase the overall success levels

3. Prevention of Biases and Prejudices – In order to foster a friendly and conducive environment, it is important to ensure that biases or prejudices among employees are minimized through well planned interventions

4. Life Stage Related Enablement – Standing by the employee in difficult times

5. Safe and Secure Environment – Ensuring safety and security at all times
