Since NPCI follows a people first approach, Health, Wellness & Well-Being of employees is an important focus area for the organization. The following are various initiatives undertaken by NPCI to help in not just maintaining but further improving Health, Wellness and Well-Being of employees:
Swasthya Journey 1.0 has been initiated in October ’20 with focus on building immunity to fight COVID-19 for employees, outsourced staff and family members. The entire campaign started with Medical Screening of employees, followed by one on one consultation with Doctors, Vitamin D injection camp and Wellness webinars.
For maintaining health of employees and family members during the COVID-19 pandemic, NPCI has tied up with Dr. Darrel Demello as a Health & Wellness Advisor. Dr. Darrel Demello is an MBBS Doctor with 30 years of experience. He has treated 1000+ families having COVID.
NPCI employees were gratified to meet Health & Wellness Advisor in person for one on one consultation across locations (Mumbai, Chennai & Hyderabad).
2D Echo and CT Chest Scan are the 2 tests which analyse functioning of the lungs and measure the breathing capacity of the person. Hence, as an overall wellbeing & as a protective step for employees who were detected COVID -19 positive, NPCI has made arrangements to complete 2D Echo and CT Chest Scan and cost for the same is borne by NPCI.
On receipt of the reports, employees need to approach the Health & Wellness Advisor for advice & precautionary measures as required.
