BHIM UPI clocks 105 million transactions

Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has achieved 105 million transactions in the month of November. The total value of transactions stood at Rs. 9679 crore with the average ticket size of Rs 921. UPI volume (UPI, BHIM and USSD 2.0 -*99#) during November, October and September were 105 million, 76.96 million and 30.98 million while the value stood at Rs. 9679 crore, Rs. 7.057 crore and Rs. 5,325 crore respectively. BHIM is a smart mobile phone based app that allows simple, easy and quick payment transactions using UPI. One can easily make direct bank to bank payments instantly and collect money using Mobile number or payment address. It is a unique payment solution which empowers an individual with immediate send and collect request.

IMPS clocks 89.49 million transactions

Immediate Payment Service which works 24 X 7 has achieved 89.49 million transactions in the month of October. The total value of transactions stood at Rs.78,257 crore with the average ticket size of Rs. 8745. IMPS volume during November, October and September were 89.49 million, 88.12 million and 82.85 million while the value stood at Rs. 78,257 crore, Rs. 75,041 crore and Rs. 71,759 crore respectively.
