Literacy session for Entrepreneurs

NPCI conducted a literacy session at 2nd Young Entrepreneur Summit in November to make budding entrepreneurs aware about the digital payment platforms launched by NPCI that available for facilitating online payments. Participants were familiarised with the ways of integrating the same into their business models. The session highlighted benefits of digital payments to the merchants as well as customers while enlightening the entrepreneurs about the importance of digital banking.

Digital literacy workshop at Rotary Club

NPCI officials were invited to conduct a workshop on digital payments at Rotary Club in Navi Mumbai on November 15. Over 100 senior citizens, who were senior bankers attended the workshop. A practical demonstration of BHIM UPI was delivered which encouraged them to download the BHIM app and make payments. The participants were also femalirised with other NPCI products such as RuPay card, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS) and Immediate Payment Service (IMPS).

Encouraging digital payments at Jharkhand

A workshop on BHIM and USSD based *99# was conducted at JhumeriTalliya, Jharkhand for the field staff of d.Light Energy Pvt. Ltd. on November 11. The training program was attended by 25 persons including their Business Director. All the trainees downloaded BHIM App and made transactions. d.Light Energy Private Ltd. is a global organisation with a mission to provide clean energy products at affordable rates.
