Bharat BillPay workshop for Fintech & Start-ups
Bharat BillPay in collaboration with Isprit (Indian Software Product Industry Round Table) organised a workshop for fintech and startups in Bengaluru. Mr. Pramod Verma, Advisor to NPCI addressed the audience and propagated business opportunities for fintech companies at the event. The event was held on February 7 witness active participation from the fintech and startup community.
BHIM bags Innovative Use of Technology Award
Paul Writer, India’s first community of marketers recognized, ‘Mumbai Hot 50 Brands’ at the Mumbai Brand Summit & Hot Brands 2018 on February 15. Bharat Interface for Money – BHIM was awarded in Innovative Use of Technology Awards category by a mix of popular voting and an elite panel of jury. The brand summit was also conceptualized which witnessed over 200 dignitaries representing leading brands from Mumbai.
Bharat BillPay enables TNEB
Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB), a prominent biller in the state of Tamil Nadu has been activated on the interoperable Bharat Bill Payment ecosystem for the first time. TNEB has an approximate subscriber base of 2.79 crore. It was on-boarded in collaboration with Indian Overseas Bank.
