NPCI concludes the 2nd leg of the Txn Nxt event for bankers in Delhi

The 2nd leg of the Txn nxt event took place in Delhi on 26th July at The Oberoi Grand, New Delhi. The idea is to showcase key initiatives and upcoming projects from Marketing, Product, Business Development, to bankers on a single platform. The agenda of the roadshow involves sessions from multiple teams giving insights on Product Developments, Loyalty Platform, Research Insights, Brand Partnerships, Fraud Protection, Value Chains, Key Projects 19-20.

NPCI ties up with L&T Financial Services for digital payment awareness

UPI just became easier for smaller merchants

In a move that is directly aimed at speeding up a small merchant’s ability to collect payments through the Unified Payments Interface, NPCI has issued a circular which helps merchants onboard as individuals to start with and not as businesses. In a circular issued on June 17, NPCI identified a new category for UPI payments — P2PM. This is in addition to P2P (person-to-person payments) and P2M (person-to-merchant payments). The move has been aimed at onboarding small merchants and vendors with low-value ticket sizes under the ambit of digital payments.

NPCI ties up with Telangana for MeeSeva services

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has entered into an agreement with the Government of Telangana to offer the users of the MeeSeva portal the option of UPI Collect Request, RuPay Debit & Credit Cards as a mode of payment for services rendered on the portal. The MeeSeva portal, an initiative by the Government of Telangana, has over 150 government services listed therein and surpassed 100 million transactions last year.

RuPay- Amazon Promotions

NPCI got into an exclusive partnership with Amazon to promote the RuPay cards on the Amazon platform. Following the successful campaign in 2018-19, NPCI partnered with Amazon to run a cashback promotion for RuPay customers to drive card activation and repeat usage with one of the largest brand in the Ecomm space.
