Leave Policy Changes

NPCI has always been focusing on enhancing its support system to the employees through contemporary and relevant employee benefits policies. In continuation with this philosophy, NPCI has discontinued the practice of Leave Encashment from FY22 while continuing to retain the accumulation limit at 90 days (to be availed as per need).

Privilege Leaves from FY22 onwards shall not have any monetary consideration and may be used only for the purpose of rest and relaxation. Privilege Leave balance as on March 31, 2021 (after adjusting mandatory leave for FY21) shall be considered for encashment during employee separation (depending upon the actual usage). The revised Employee Leave Policy is attached herewith and shall also be available on EKP and BUDS. Employees are requested to take note of the same and aim for better planning towards leave management in discussion with their managers.

For more details, you can visit the HR Policies section on EKP at https://ep.npci.org.in/ekp/index.php/hr-policies. In addition, the Policy Hub in BUDS also has the updated policy.
