NPCI conducts FINSPIRE workshops in Maharashtra

NPCI officials conducted workshops on digital payments in association with Maharashtra State Co-op Banks’ Association in January. Satara, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur and Nashik cities were covered in this project which catered to about 1400 bankers representing over 550 Co-operative banks in Maharashtra. Product insights on RuPay, Aadhaar Enabled Payment Service (AePS), Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) – Unified Payments Interface (UPI) were delivered to bank officials and their queries on bank’s onboarding and certifications were addressed. Bankers were also familiarised with BHIM app and its usage by demonstrating live transactions.

Digital Literacy workshop for Telecom sector

NPCI conducted a literacy workshop on digital payments for telecom service providers and internet service providers to promote digital payments in telecom sector. Discussions on Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) – Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Bharat QR and National Automated Clearing House (NACH) were held during the workshop which was attended by over 120 participants including top officials from the industry.
