BHIM UPI clocks over 246 million transactions
Bharat Interface for Money - Unified Payments Interface (BHIM UPI) achieved 246.37 million transactions in the month of June. The total value of transactions stood at Rs. 40,834 crore with the average ticket size of Rs. 1,657. UPI volume (UPI, BHIM and USSD 2.0 *99#) during June, May and April were 247 million, 189 million and 190 million while the value stood at Rs. 40,834 crore, Rs. 33,288 crore and Rs. 27,021 crore respectively. BHIM is a smart phone based app that allows simple, easy and quick payment transactions using UPI. One can easily make direct bank to bank payments instantly and collect money using mobile number or payment address. It is a unique payment solution which empowers an individual with immediate send and collect request. As on June, total number of banks live on BHIM UPI platform were 110.

IMPS clocks over 120 million transactions
Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), the platform which works 24 X 7 has achieved 120 million transactions in the month of June. The total value of transactions stood at Rs. 1,13,011 crore with the average ticket size at Rs. 9,379. IMPS volume during June, May and April were 120 million, 116million and 110 million while the value stood at Rs. 1,13,011 crore, Rs. 1,08,574 and Rs. 1,02,240 crore respectively. IMPS provides robust and real time fund transfer service which offers an instant, 24X7, interbank electronic fund transfer service that could be accessed on multiple channels like Mobile, Internet, ATM, SMS and Branch.
