NPCI participates at Australian Payments Summit
To strengthen relationships and share strategic best practices among respective payments organisations in APAC region, Australian Payments Network hosted a forum on December 11-12 in Sydney. Companies form Australia, Canada, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and NPCI from India participated in this forum. Australian Payments Summit was conducted on December 13, 2017 primarily to collaborate for conducting research of mutual interest, brainstorm to tackle challenges and leverage on the intellectual, operational knowledge and expertise which resides with respective payment organisation.
RuPay cards for SBI YONO customers
State Bank of India (SBI) unveiled country's first integrated lifestyle and banking digital platform. It was launched by Finance Minister, Mr.Arun Jaitley. RuPay cards will be presented to customers who open an instant savings accounts via YONO.YONO, the acronym for 'You Only Need One', is the first digital banking platform to offer customised products. Customers can maintain an aggregate balance up to Rs.1,00,000 and make annual transaction up to Rs. 2,00,000.
Select UPI for making payments at Nykaa
Nykaa e-Retail Pvt Ltd., India’s multi-brand beauty retailer which sells cosmetic and wellness products has gone live on UPI for accepting instant payments. With this development, UPI enables easy check-out for all Nykaa customers and enhances their shopping experience.
Shop online with UPI
Payments via UPI is not possible at Fabindia website, customers can now make online payments through UPI on website across India. Fabindia is India's largest private platform for products that are made from traditional techniques, skills and hand-based processes.
Pay educational fees with UPI
Students can now scan and pay their fees through Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and BHIM app at the centres of Career Launcher. Career Launcher is one of the leaders in education field that have installed BHIM QR Solutions at its centres for facilitating instant payments.
BHIM UPI payments goes live on APTOnline
APTOnline is a web portal which acts as the digital gateway for the government of Andhra Pradesh to offer multiple services, through a single window to its citizens. Around 5000 outlets of CSCs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are enabled with BHIM UPI payments. Customers can pay using BHIM UPI at CSC outlets by scanning QR code. Successful transaction will take place when a customer scans QR code by using any BHIM UPI app at CSC outlets. Both cashier and customer gets a notification instantly after the traction is complete.
