FINSPIRE workshops for Cooperative Banks
NPCI team conducted a financial literacy session for two banks namely Nirmal Urban Cooperative bank and Samruddhi Cooperative bank on December 15 at Nagpur. Over 60 bank officials attended the workshop that was focused to familiarise them with NPCI’s flagship products like RuPay, Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM), Aadhaar Enabled Payment Service (AePS), Bharat QR and USSD based *99#. Bank officials were also encouraged to download and use BHIM app at the workshop.
NPCI partakes in e-Naga Summit 2017
In a bid to make state of Nagaland a leader in digital payments, Digi Dhan Mela was organised by the Department of Information Technology and Communication (IT&C) at the Civil Secretariat Kohima to provide digital experience for customers with different needs. Digi-Dhan Mela was held for six days on the theme ‘Go cashless, go digital’ starting from December 13 which was concluded with e-Naga Summit on December 18.
Spreading awareness on Digital Payments
NPCI steered digital and financial literacy workshop for over hundred master trainers from Bijnore, Uttar Pradesh. A programme entitled ‘Samavesh’ was organised to impart financial literacy and financial skills training to the people living in rural areas. The event was coordinated by SKOCH Development Foundation and supported by NSE, SIDBI and United Bank of India. NPCI also supported a digital payment security awareness campaign held on December 12 called ‘Digital Payment Suraksha’ which was attended by hon’ble Minister of state for Electronics and Information Technology Mr.Joseph Kannanthanam along with MEITY Secretary Mr.Ajay Prakash Sawhney.
Financial Literacy workshop for MSCBA
NPCI conducted a financial literacy workshop for Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank Association at Satara on December 26, 2017. Over 300 bank officials from state cooperative banks participated from Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Sholapur, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg division. NPCI officials conducted sessions on all products and addressed their queries related to certification of products, RuPay card issuance and on-boarding of IMPS etc.
