NPCI had launched a global level Hackathon – ‘NPCI PayAuth Challenge’ with the objective to find alternative solutions for the authorisation of UPI. NPCI had received 100+ entries & after multiple rounds of evaluation 8 teams were selected for the finale. The finale was held on 17th April 2021 with the finalists showcasing their solutions in front of an eminent jury. The winner announcement is expected soon.
