- Change Default MPIN thru any one of the chosen Mode to avail MBS on that Mode.
- Register A/c At ATM >MobReg>Mob Banking>10 digit Mob No. Or Apply at Branch CBS.

- All registered Mobile Banking Users will be allotted MMID and which will be Send through SMS on next day of registration.
- For others to Generate MMID
- Go to ATM >MobReg>SMS SMS Alert / 3DSecured Code / IMPS>10 digit Mob No. Or
- Apply at the Branch for online registration.
- User will Receive MMID through SMS.
- For Retrieval/Cancellation of MMID:
a. Send SMS “MMID SBI” to 9223440000 to retrieve your MMID.
b. Send SMS “MMIDCANCEL” to 9223440000 to cancel your MMID.

Through Mobile Banking Application
- Log on to mobile banking application using your user id
- Select option ‘IMPS – Immediate Payment Service’ in the main menu
- Select option ‘IMPS merchant payments’ in the sub-menu
- Enter details: Merchant mobile number, Merchant MMID, Amount, Payment Reference
- Enter M-PIN
- Transaction status will be displayed on the screen
- Transaction status will also be sent as SMS alert on customer mobile
Through SMS
Send a message to 9223440000 using the following keywords:
<MIMPS> <Merchant Mobile No> <Merchant MMID> <amount> <User ID> <MPIN> <Payment Reference>
Business rules
The daily ceiling is Rs. 1,000 per transaction per customer for fund transfer / other transactions and with a calendar month limit of Rs. 5,000 per customer. The customers desiring to transact for higher limits may obtain OTP (One Time Password) before doing the transaction. The process of obtaining the OTP is detailed below.The daily ceiling for transactions with OTP will be Rs5000/- per customer for fund transfer / other transactions and with a calendar month limit of Rs. 25,000 per customer.
Process for obtaining OTP
The customer to call the Bank’s contact centre toll free number 18004253800 from the mobile number registered for the service. The customer will be required to enter the last four digits of the account number and the last three digits of the user ID for validating and sending the OTP. The OTP will be advised to the customer over IVR and also over SMS to the mobile number.
If the transaction requires an OTP, the following SMS should be sent:

Using the mobile banking application
-
Log on to mobile banking application using your user id
- Select option ‘IMPS – Immediate Payment Service’ in the main menu
- Select option ‘Generate OTP’ in the sub-menu
- Enter M-PIN
- The OTP will be displayed on the screen along with its validity amount and time
- OTP will also be sent as SMS alert on customer mobile
Process flow for generation of OTP thru IVR is as follows
- Customer dials contact centre telephone no 18004253800 from his register mobile
- Upon choosing mobile Banking information option, and subsequently OTP option, IVR prompts for last 4 digits of primary account no and last 3 digits of user id.
- Bank validates the aforesaid credentials as success or failure and sends the OTP or the failure message to customer and speaks out OTP to the customer.
The transaction limit for OTP generated through mobile banking application is Rs 50,000/- and through IVR is Rs 5,000/- per transaction. |
