Shri. Suresh Vavilala is Head National Financial Switch – Operations for National Payments Corporation of India since 8th July 2010. His Career in Information Technology ,Project Management and Operations spans more than 15 years which includes the 11 years in the Banking Technology Operations and Project Management in India, UK and UAE.

His major part of Banking career was with Bank of Baroda (Feb 1999- June 2008) where he had implemented Debit card and Credit card Program in Bank’s UK Operations (Nov 2002- Dec 2005), in addition to delivery channels viz, Net Banking and Telebanking . In addition to this he was responsible for Bank’s Card Operations in London, UK.

His major achievements include Project Management and end to end implementation of Switching Solution and Debit Card program for Bank of Baroda (Jan 2006-June 2008) in UAE, Oman, Mauritius, Fiji , Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya as a Project Manager and was responsible for operations of Bank’s International ATM and Debit card operations for the above countries.

In his last assignment at Network International (July 2008- July 2010) in Dubai, UAE ( largest Third party processor and Merchant acquirer in Middle east and subsidiary of Emirates NBD) , he has played a Key role in his capacity as a Project Manger and implemented Debit card and ATM switching solution for their Third party Banks in UAE. His other major achievement was implementation of ATM switching and Debit card program for their new subsidiary SINNAD in Bahrain.
