Sanjay Desai is Senior Vice President in HDFC Bank. He has done his Bachelor of Science from Mumbai University with specialization in Mathematics and Computer Science. He has over 20 years of experience in diverse areas of Technology. He takes care of all the Direct Banking Channels of the Bank, including the Bank's ATM-switch and related interfaces. Over the past 13 years in HDFC Bank, Sanjay has played a key role in designing and maintaining many areas of the bank's technology solutions, namely, ATM/PoS switch, Internet Banking, Payment Gateway, Cards, Retail Assets, Corporate Banking, Cash Management, Clearing-Automation, Imaging and Work-flow solutions.

Prior to joining HDFC Bank, Sanjay has worked with the leading Share Custodial firm, Industrial Investment Trust, and designed and implemented many Technology solutions in Financial Accounting domain. Last year, he has completed a short-term management course at IIM Ahmedabad to enhance his awareness of global business models.
