A post graduate in Statistics from Presidency College, Chennai, Shri P. Pradeep Kumar joined State Bank of India as Probationary Officer and has over 35 years of experience in the Bank. He heads the Global IT operations of the Bank.

Before this assignment, he was Managing Director of State Bank of Travancore.  Prior to this, he was heading the US Operations of the Bank.  He held important assignments in operations as well as IT during his distinguished career and notable among them is heading the IT Networking of the Bank.  He has spent a number of years in Technology plans of the Bank.
