Bharat Panchal is Head – Risk Management of National Payments Corporation of India since April-2011. His major role in NPCI is to oversee Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit and Information Security. He is having around 18 years of rich experience in banking and telecommunication sectors. Prior to joining with NPCI, he has been with Kotak Mahindra Bank since 2008 where he was working as VP & Group IS Audit Head. He has worked with Citi Technology services for Business continuity, Risk and program Management. He has done major contribution to Reliance Communication in the inception phase where he was leading the team of system acceptance testing for back office and network integration applications. He has also worked with Avaya Global Connect for 9 years in Quality and process management.

Along with BSc. IT, he is holding certificates like CISA, CISM, BCCP and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. He is an active member of ISACA and CSI.
